Winzeler Gear has spent years investing in plastic gear R&D to enhance gear design and engineering capabilities. We have designed and built dynamometers, friction testers, and other components that operate with the help of our strategic partners, and we continue to work together with them to develop the best gears and assemblies catered exactly to our customers’ needs. The research we’ve conducted to produce quieter gears and actuators, for example, has become particularly important in current years as more automobiles are built and powered by electric motors.

We take the time to research the behavior of plastic materials used for molded gears. Winzeler Gear maintains certification IATF 16949 (International Automotive Task Force), and our quality and gear metrology labs represent an investment of $1M of gear inspection equipment.
